The main campus of Mercy University encompasses 66 acres (27 ha) in the village of Dobbs Ferry in the town of Greenburgh, Westchester County, New York, 25 miles (40 km) north of New York City.  In addition to academic and administrative buildings, it houses the two residence halls and athletics buildings, including state-of-the-art facilities such as the Clinical Health and Simulation Labs, design and animation studios, music and recording studios and a 5,000 square foot fitness center. The Old Croton Aqueduct Trail runs through campus.

In 2011, Mercy College bought the Our Lady of Victory Academy building after the school closed. The building was renovated to include state-of-the-art classrooms, design and animation studios, music and recording studios, a trading room that replicates Wall Street with Bloomberg terminals and a stock ticker, and a new gymnasium with an NCAA regulation court for basketball and volleyball.

In December 2015, the college opened a new 350-bed, state-of-the-art residence hall complex, known as Hudson Hall, that includes a 5,000-square-foot fitness center facility and student commons with shops.

Mercy hosted the Third Round and Quarterfinals of the 2017 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championships at Mercy Field on the Dobbs Ferry main campus.

The Westchester campus is just a short walk from the Ardsley-on-Hudson Station of the Metro-North Hudson Line, making Grand Central Terminal in New York City accessible in less than 30 minutes.

In 2024, Mercy University completed $4.25 million worth of campus improvements in Dobbs Ferry, New York, including the construction of a 4,100 square-foot permanent open-aired pavilion in The Grove area of the Dobbs Ferry main campus.

Potential employees and applicants are invited to review our Annual Security Report.  The Annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning specific reported crimes that occurred on campus and on public areas within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. These statistics are compiled from campus incident reports, reports from designated Campus Security Authorities, and from local police departments. Statistics related to fires that may have occurred in on-campus student housing are included as part of this report.  The report also describes institutional policies relevant to campus security

The first step in the admissions process is to submit an application to Mercy College. Students are able to apply to Mercy at Certain major concentrations may require supplemental admissions items. Visit our catalogs or contact the Office of Admissions for additional information.

Yes, the PACT program takes advising a step further. We give you a personal mentor who’ll be your go-to person whenever you want support. With everything from navigating financial aid, and choosing the right major to registering for classes and tracking your academic progress.

Up to 75 credits from a two-year institution. Up to 90 from a four-year institution. Up to 90 credits combined however the credits may not exceed 75 credits from any combination of two-year institutions as they apply to your chosen degree. In addition you may only transfer in two courses of upper-level business credit (six credits) to apply to the major / specialization.

We have three campuses in Westchester and New York City. Our Dobbs Ferry, Westchester campus has 66 acres right on the Hudson River. You can live on-campus in our residence halls, and is only a 40 minute train ride into New York City.

Our New York City campuses are centrally located in Manhattan’s Herald Square on 34th Street and in the Bronx’s Hutchinson Metro Center.
